Aamir Khan Felicitates Assamese Talent Rajdweep For His Script Ishqlogy

Dreams come true and this phrase resonates with Rajdweep in every possible manner. Hail from a small village in Assam, Rajdweep has been living in Guwahati since many years now. The writer-lyrisict recently visited Mumbai for the first time ever and it became super special for him.

The young talent has been awarded by Mr. perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan for his script Ishqlogy. Along with Aamir Khan, writer-director Rajkumar Hirani, screenwriters Juhi Chaturvedi and Anjum Rajabali were the part of the jury for the contest. Rajdweep received a price money of rupees 4 lacs.

Ishqlogy is a love story based on the real incidents that took place in several parts across the country. The plot also has an interesting conflict between trust and science. Cinestaan India’s Storytellers contest was organised by Cinestaan Digital Pvt. Ltd and it is the biggest script contest in India till date.

Assam State Award winner Rajdweep’s maiden script was Khel- The Game, an Assamese movie directed by Ashok Kumar Bishoya in 2015. Later, he went onto write for several Assamese theatre groups. He is the only writer from Assam to pen songs for Bollywood films. He has songs from A Death in The Gunj and Jagga Jasoos to his credits.

Rajdweep surely holds a promising career ahead in Bollywood and this is just a beginning!
